Job Summary

The Bilingual Front End Associate at The Restaurant Store is dedicated to providing outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction in a retail setting. You will handle cashier duties, assist customers with inquiries, and support smooth checkout operations. Through excellent customer service and collaboration with branch leadership, you’ll help drive sales, order fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory management.

Responsibilities 🚀

• Deliver friendly, efficient front-end customer service and ensure a seamless checkout process
• Achieve high levels of point-of-sale transactions daily
• Assist customers with accurate register transactions, including cash handling, membership verification, and loading purchases into vehicles
• Process returns and restock items appropriately
• Expedite customer flow through checkout lanes to minimize wait times
• Serve as the initial contact for incoming phone calls, providing prompt assistance or directing inquiries
• Guide customers within the store and address questions regarding policies, memberships, and pricing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes, registers, carts, and front areas
• Refill and merchandise impulse products at the front end to support sales
• Support additional tasks and initiatives as assigned by management to ensure business operations run smoothly

Physical Requirements 💪

• Stand and walk for up to 9 hours per day
• Communicate effectively through speech, vision, and hearing
• Use hands for grasping and fine manipulations regularly
• Bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach frequently
• Lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights up to 50 lbs as needed

Experience & Education 🎓

• At least 1 year of relevant retail or supply chain management experience preferred
• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• This role does not require a formal degree; relevant skills and experience are highly valued
