Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant
- Perform all standard safety and service duties with excellence.
- Act as a cultural and linguistic liaison between passengers and crew.
- Make all public announcements in both Japanese and English.
- Assist passengers with customs forms and documentation.
- Support service recovery efforts for any guest issues.
- Demonstrate strong team collaboration skills in a multilingual crew environment.
Daily Responsibilities
This role is primarily focused on long-haul international travel, involving:
- Multi-day trips and extended layovers.
- Night shift departures and weekend operations.
- Flexibility for 24/7 international on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines.
Training & Onboarding
Candidates should have at least 2+ years of customer service experience. New hires will complete a 6.5-week paid training in Houston, which includes a mandatory language proficiency test. No prior flight attendant experience is required, but it is preferred.
