Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant 🛫
Beyond standard safety and service duties, you will act as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Your responsibilities include:
- Making public announcements in both Japanese and English
- Providing passenger assistance with customs forms
- Handling service recovery for any guest issues
- Collaborating effectively with a multi-lingual crew
Your Day-to-Day ✨
This position involves long-haul international flights, requiring flexibility for multi-day trips and extended layovers. Be prepared for:
- Night shift departures 🌙
- Weekend operational schedules
- 100% flexibility for international on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines
Training & Onboarding 📚
Candidates should have at least 2+ years of customer service experience. The onboarding process includes:
- 6.5-week paid training in Houston
- A mandatory language proficiency test
Experience as a flight attendant is not required but preferred.
