🎯 Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant
- Perform all standard safety and service duties with an emphasis on cultural and linguistic liaison responsibilities.
- Make public announcements in both Japanese and English.
- Assist passengers with customs forms and other pre/post-flight needs.
- Support service recovery efforts to resolve any passenger issues.
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-lingual crew environment.
🔄 Your Day-to-Day
This position requires readiness for long-haul international flights, multi-day trips, extended layovers, and varied schedules including night departures and weekend operations. Flexibility for 24/7 on-call support (reserve) and specific scheduled lines is essential.
📚 Training & Onboarding
- Minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience needed.
- Attend a 6.5-week paid training program in Houston, which includes a mandatory language proficiency test.
- Prior flight attendant experience is not required but is preferred.
