Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant 🧳
Beyond standard safety and service duties, you will act as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Responsibilities include:
- Making public announcements in both Japanese and English 📢
- Providing passenger assistance with customs forms
- Supporting service recovery efforts for any issues 🍽️
- Collaborating effectively within a multi-lingual crew 🤝
Daily Responsibilities & Schedule 🕒
This role involves:
- Long-haul international flights ✈️
- Multi-day trips and extended layovers 🌍
- Night shift departures 🌙
- Weekend operations 🗓️
- Full flexibility for international on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines
Training & Onboarding 🎓
The position requires:
- At least 2+ years of customer service experience
- A 6.5-week paid training program in Houston 🏢
- Mandatory language proficiency testing in Japanese and English 📝
- Prior flight attendant experience is not required but preferred
Career Development & Compensation 💼
