Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant
- Perform safety and service duties on long-haul international flights
- Serve as a cultural and linguistic liaison for Japanese-speaking guests
- Make all public announcements in both Japanese and English
- Assist passengers with customs forms and other travel documents
- Handle service recovery and resolve issues effectively
- Collaborate with a diverse, multi-lingual crew to ensure seamless service
Daily Responsibilities
This role involves multi-day international trips with extended layovers and variable schedules, including night shifts and weekend operations. Flexibility and readiness for on-call support are essential. 🌙🗓️
Training & Onboarding
Applicants should have at least 2+ years of customer service experience. Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive 6.5-week paid training in Houston, which includes a mandatory language proficiency test. Prior flight attendant experience is not required but preferred. 🎓
