🛫 Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant
Beyond standard safety and service duties, you will act as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Responsibilities include:
- Making public announcements in both Japanese and English
- Assisting passengers with customs forms
- Providing service recovery for any issues that arise
- Collaborating effectively within a multi-lingual crew
🗓️ Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This position is focused on long-haul international flights, requiring readiness for:
- Multi-day trips
- Extended layovers
- Night shift departures
- Weekend operations
- International on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines
Flexibility is essential for this 24/7 role.
🎓 Training & Onboarding
- Minimum of 2+ years in customer service
- 6.5-week paid training in Houston, including a language proficiency test
- No previous flight attendant experience required, but preferred
