Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant

Beyond standard safety and service duties, you will act as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Your responsibilities include:

  • Making public announcements in Japanese and English 🎙️
  • Assisting passengers with customs forms 🛃
  • Providing passenger assistance and service recovery when issues arise 🤝
  • Collaborating effectively within a multi-lingual crew 🧑‍✈️

Your Day-to-Day Operations

This role focuses on long-haul international flights, with expectations for multi-day trips, extended layovers, and flexible scheduling that may include:

  • Night shift departures 🌙
  • Weekend operations 🗓️
  • Availability for international on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines ⏰

Training & Onboarding

The role requires:

  • At least 2+ years of customer service experience 🧑‍💼
  • 6.5-week paid training held in Houston, including a language proficiency test ✅
  • No prior flight attendant experience necessary, but preferred.
