Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant
Beyond safety procedures and in-flight service, you will act as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Responsibilities include:
- Making all public announcements in both Japanese and English
- Assisting passengers with customs forms
- Providing service recovery when issues occur
- Collaborating effectively within a multi-lingual crew
Daily Responsibilities
This role is centered on long-haul international flights. You'll need to:
- Prepare for multi-day trips and extended layovers
- Work a flexible schedule, including night shifts and weekends
- Be available for international on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines
Training & Onboarding
Required prerequisites include:
- At least 2 years of customer service experience
- Completion of a 6.5-week paid training in Houston, including a language proficiency test
- Experience as a flight attendant is not required but preferred
Career & Compensation Growth
