Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant ✈️👩✈️
Beyond standard safety and service duties, you'll serve as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Your responsibilities include:
- Making public announcements in both Japanese and English
- Assisting passengers with customs forms
- Providing support for service recovery and resolving issues
- Collaborating effectively within a multi-lingual team
A Typical Day — Long-Haul Travel & Flexibility 🚀🕐
This position involves international flights, often spanning multiple days with extended layovers. You should be prepared for:
- Night shift departures 🌙
- Weekend operations 🏖️
- 24/7 on-call support (reserve) and scheduled shifts
Training & Onboarding 🎓
Requirements for this role include:
- Over 2 years of customer service experience
- 6.5-week paid training in Houston, including a language proficiency test
- No prior flight attendant experience necessary — but preferred
Career Growth & Compensation 💰
