About the Role

As a Direct Sales Agent Specialist in our Allstate Business, you will be instrumental in driving profitable growth by engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and building lasting relationships. Your focus will be on expanding and maintaining your book of business within your local market—attracting new clients and cross-selling existing ones across our product offerings such as Auto, Life, Roadside Assistance, and more.

This role involves selling to walk-in customers, conducting marketing calls, and visiting community events to promote our products and foster relationships that support continuous growth. You will also assist customers directly in our offices, providing exceptional service and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business sales and achieve growth targets
  • Build rapport and trust with customers to understand their insurance needs
  • Attract and generate new customers via walk-ins, marketing calls, and community outreach
  • Cross-sell and retain existing customers for multiple products including Auto, Life, and Roadside Assistance
  • Develop community relationships to create multiple referral sources
  • Monitor local market competitors and suggest initiatives for market positioning
  • Work with leadership to plan and implement marketing and sales strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and underwriting guidelines
  • Process customer payments and verify receipt reports

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in insurance or related fields
  • P&C licensing (preferred) or be willing to attain licensure within 90 days of employment

  • Successfully closing sales of insurance and ancillary products
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals through new and existing business
  • Building a sales pipeline through community contacts and events
  • Initiating outbound calls to targeted prospects
  • Monitoring local competitors and recommending improvements
  • Collaborating with sales leadership on marketing and sales process optimization
  • Achieving key performance metrics—quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and compliance

Compensation Details

For Unlicensed Candidates:

Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

For Licensed Candidates:

Along with the base pay, there is potential for incentive pay, including commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
