Role Overview

As a Bilingual Dental Inbound Contacts Representative, you will work remotely, reporting to the Inbound Contacts Supervisor and collaborating with the Consumer Contacts team. Your primary goal is to support members and providers by answering questions, resolving concerns, and guiding them through next steps—ensuring they feel informed and valued.

What You Will Do 🚀

  • Handle 40+ inbound calls daily from members and providers in a dynamic call center environment
  • Address various needs including benefit questions, service issues, and general inquiries
  • Escalate unresolved grievances appropriately to ensure resolution
  • Document all interactions accurately in internal systems
  • Resolve routine to moderately complex issues following established guidelines
  • Identify and escalate issues to the correct teams for further assistance
  • Maintain high standards in quality, productivity, and customer experience

Required Qualifications 💼

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish, with fluent speaking, reading, and writing skills
  • Reside in Central or Eastern Time Zone
  • Genuine customer service mindset with a desire to help
  • Experience documenting detailed customer issues
  • Ability to assess support requests across multiple systems and escalate accordingly
  • Skilled in interpreting and responding to customer needs
  • Proven success in performance-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous inbound call center or related customer service experience
  • Healthcare industry experience

Training & Work Schedule 📅

Training Schedule: Starts on June 29, 2026, lasting 5-6 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern. Attendance and punctuality are required, with your camera ON during training and meetings.

Post-Training Work Schedule: You will be assigned an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday. Shift bidding occurs periodically based on business needs, performance, and tenure.

During the initial 180 days, attendance is critical for your development, with a strict policy against time off during the first 90 days and discouraged during the appraisal period. Proficiency in multiple systems and policies is developed over time, with a commitment to remain in this role for at least 12 months.

Work-at-Home Requirements 🏡

  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; wired connection recommended
  • Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections require leadership approval
  • Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly internet expense payments
  • Humana provides necessary telephone equipment
  • Dedicated, interruption-free workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA data

Travel Expectations ✈️

Occasional travel for training or meetings at Humana offices may be required, even for remote employees.

  • Pay Range: $39,000 - $49,400 annually (may vary by location and experience)
