Registry Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a Registry Specialist to support daily operations of the technical assistance and call center for the NJ Workforce Registry project, led by PCG for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Family Development.

General Duties

  • Provide customer service and troubleshooting for Registry participants (early education and care providers, workforce, and technical assistance providers)
  • Problem solve and brainstorm functionalities of the Registry
  • Interface with program administrators and registry customers via phone and email
  • Respond to daily calls and emails
  • Manage phone coverage during assigned times

Registry Responsibilities

  • Enter data into the Registry and member profiles
  • Assist early childhood workforce with registry support and technical assistance on Registry and Learning Management System
  • Process emails, applications, and verify education and professional development hours
  • Inform clients about Career Lattice, Credentials, Apprenticeships, Scholarships, and Career Pathways
  • Update existing registry data and information
  • Provide technical assistance on registry features and functions
  • Deliver excellent customer service

Additional Activities

  • Support local programs and providers with registry functions
  • Conduct training and technical assistance for stakeholders, including sponsoring agencies

Communications Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration to highlight the impact of education, training, and experience on quality
  • Build relationships with key partners, such as regulatory systems

Requirements

Experience

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience in help desk or call center settings (application support or client/customer service)
  • Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with three years of relevant experience

Preferred Experience

  • Background in health & human services, childcare, or early childhood
  • Six months call center experience or one year in customer service/office management

Salary ranges from $20.00 - $21.25 per hour. Compensation varies based on location, role, skills, and experience.
