Position Overview: Full-Time Flex Houseparents 💑

As Flex Houseparents, couples will reside in on-campus student homes, fostering a family-like environment for approximately 8–13 students. Your role is crucial in guiding students’ development and creating a supportive, structured space where they can thrive.

Key Responsibilities 🚸

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and supporting student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel services
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working consistently with the same group of students in their own home.

Benefits & Compensation 💰

• Salary: $44,768.00 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple)

Qualifications & Requirements 🎓

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children in the home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• Pet limitations: Only fish and one dog of approved breeds
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with certification to drive student vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated professionalism and integrity, serving as role models
