About Clay Hill Public Charter School
Established in fall 2021, Clay Hill Public Charter School initially serves students in grades K-3 and expanded to grades K-5 for the 2023-2024 school year, with a vision to eventually serve K-8 students. We are committed to:

Role Overview
Under the guidance of the Baltimore City Public Schools Office of Communications, Engagement, and Enrollment, the Community School Site Specialist will lead the implementation of the community school strategy at Clay Hill. 🤝
A Community School is built through purposeful partnerships between the school and community resources, aimed at boosting student achievement, supporting positive learning conditions, and enhancing family and community well-being. Collaborating with the principal and community members, the specialist will assess community needs and develop strategic partnerships to remove barriers to success for students and families.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish (bilingual ability required) 🗣️🇪🇸
- Associate degree from an accredited institution (Bachelor’s preferred) 🎓
- Minimum of two years of experience working with urban public school systems, including youth development, community organizing, family engagement, or education policy 🌆
- Knowledge of community school principles and standards for success 🌟
- Experience in fostering academic partnerships, health and social supports, and engaging families and communities 🤝
- Proven ability to develop and facilitate training, meetings, or professional development sessions 📋
- Expertise in needs assessments, data analysis, and strategy development 📊
- Experience working with schools in high-poverty areas 🏘️
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and oversee staff, partners, and volunteers 🧑🤝🧑
- Strong written and verbal communication skills 📝
- Commitment to inclusive, equitable practices grounded in racial equity frameworks ✊🏽✊🏿
- Ability to build effective relationships across diverse backgrounds 🌍
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data systems, data analysis, and budget management 💻💰
