About the Role
Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Contact customers in person and over the phone to determine their needs and provide excellent sales service.
- Build Trust: Develop productive relationships with wholesale and retail clients.
- Sales Processing: Accurately handle sales transactions in line with store policies.
- Product Handling: Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, tint and mix as needed, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Store Maintenance: Stock shelves, set up displays, and ensure store cleanliness and organization.
- Store Standards: Uphold high-quality visual standards and product presentation.
- Equipment & Safety: Load/unload delivery trucks and operate electronic equipment safely.
- Operational Responsibilities: Keep store areas in stock and presentable, and assist with cleaning and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate fluently in English and Spanish.
- Physical ability to retrieve materials, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Internal Sherwin-Williams candidates must have a “meets expectations” (3) rating on their most recent performance review and complete all HR eLearning courses.
