Summary: To address all employer health benefit issues raised by OneDigital clients and their employees, including billing, enrollment, termination, liaising with insurance carriers, and providing guidance on federal and state legislation.
🛠️ Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Speak and write fluently in Korean.
- Maintain a full book of business based on employee lives and Client Advocate level (I, II, or III), delivering A+ service.
- Interact directly with clients and employees to answer questions, resolve issues, and log inquiries into D365.
- Serve as a liaison with insurance carriers to resolve claims issues.
- Collaborate with doctors’ offices, hospitals, and pharmacies to resolve claim, pre-authorization, and billing issues.
- Assist clients with the appeal process.
- Answer questions related to legislation and benefit laws, including HIPAA and COBRA.
- Help resolve enrollments, terminations, and billing concerns.
- Utilize software such as MS Outlook and other Microsoft applications.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients.
- Proactively check in with clients' key contacts monthly.
- Participate in Client Health Fairs and Open Enrollment Meetings, both in person and via ZOOM.
- Conduct benefit review sessions with employees via ZOOM, providing guidance on claims and benefits navigation.
- Attend training programs to enhance industry knowledge and organizational skills.
- Support clients when the main Client Advocate is unavailable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Hold a valid State Health and Life Insurance License.

- Manage a book of business as follows: 2,800 lives (CA1), 3,800 lives (CA2), 5,000 lives (CA3), and 7,000 lives (CA4).
- Meet metrics for each advocacy level.
- Complete the Predictive Index Assessment.
🎓 Education, Training, and Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in insurance (claims, benefits, customer service, etc.).
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ongoing education encouraged, including industry coursework leading to professional credentials.
- Must possess your state’s Life, Accident, and Sickness Insurance license.
- Fluent in Korean, both written and spoken.
💰 Compensation & Benefits
The typical base salary range nationwide is $50,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on skills, education, experience, and location. Additional benefits include:
