Position: Caregiver - Garden Grove (Bilingual English/Cantonese preferred)

Objective

Caregivers operate independently within client homes or healthcare facilities, providing essential personal care to patients. Responsibilities include traveling to clients' residences, assisting with basic domestic tasks like cleaning, activities of daily living such as bathing, and offering companionship and emotional support. 🏡

Job Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Assist with transfers & ambulation
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare and cook meals

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or Parkinson’s care
• Empathy and the ability to address the social, emotional, physical, and mental needs of clients
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Physical capability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to lift or pull up to 50 pounds safely, avoiding injuries during transfers or repositioning
• Occasional pushing/pulling of objects up to 50 pounds, along with bending and kneeling for activities
• Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour 💰

License & Certifications

• Current HCA (preferred)
• CPR Certification
