Job Opportunity: Bilingual Korean-English Accounting Specialist

Join a dynamic team near Detroit, MI, as a skilled bilingual accounting professional with over 3 years of experience in an industrial supplier environment. This is a full-time, direct-hire onsite position tailored for dedicated experts like you! 🚀

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounts receivable and payable
• Prepare monthly sales tax filings and tax returns for both federal and state jurisdictions
• Review employees' expense reports and prepare reimbursements
• Perform bank reconciliations, deposits, and transaction management
• Prepare for internal and external audits
• Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes
• Perform other accounting duties as needed
• Ensure accuracy with strong math skills and the ability to identify numerical errors
• Utilize MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage); SAP experience is a plus
• Handle sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting
• Licensed CPA is a significant advantage
• Business-level proficiency in Korean and English (Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing)
