About the Role

Our client, a leading agency known for connecting brands with Gen Z and Millennial audiences through student ambassadorship programs, is looking for an Associate Account Director. You will spearhead strategic planning, manage client relationships, oversee operations, and lead internal teams on global initiatives spanning the US and Brazil. Fluency in English and Portuguese (Brazilian preferred, European OK) is highly advantageous. Previous management experience is essential, with oversight of 2-3 junior team members expected.

Key Responsibilities

Client Liaison: Serve as the primary contact, managing account workflow on a day-to-day basis
Campaign Leadership: Lead planning and execution across digital, social, creator, experiential, and campus channels
Budget Management: Build and allocate project budgets effectively
Reporting & Analytics: Deliver clear performance reports aligned with program goals
Growth Strategies: Identify opportunities for organic account expansion
Team Development: Mentor, manage, and develop junior team members
Business Development: Support new business initiatives like brainstorms, proposals, and budgeting
Collaborations: Work closely with internal teams including Client Services, Production, Digital, and University Relations

What We Are Looking For

Experience: 4 to 7 years in account management or marketing, including agency and field marketing
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and client-facing abilities
Mindset: Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment
Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office required; Adobe Suite and project management tools a plus
Global Support Experience: Experience working with markets like the US, India, Brazil, Germany is beneficial
Language Skills: Brazilian + European Portuguese speakers strongly preferred for Brazil-focused support
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
