Join our vibrant Asian restaurant specializing in Cantonese and Thai cuisine, renowned for high-quality dishes served quickly with excellent front-of-house service. We are seeking motivated cooks to join our team and help us maintain our standards of excellence. 🍜🥢

Job Summary

Our restaurant prides itself on delivering consistently excellent food with swift service, thanks to our skilled kitchen team. We are currently hiring 2 to 4 cooks, with at least two able to lead in the kitchen. The ideal candidates will be proficient with a wok and eager to learn or already familiar with Cantonese and Thai ingredients and dishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Training on specific recipes will be provided by our head chef.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during food preparation. Possession of a food safety manager certificate or willingness to obtain one (training paid by us) is a plus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Support the culinary team in upholding high standards of food quality and preparation.
• Lead kitchen operations with a thorough understanding of our menu and dishes.

Requirements

• Experience as a line cook, lead chef, or similar role in an Asian restaurant utilizing wok skills.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Certified food managers are encouraged to apply. Training is available in multiple languages and will be paid for if needed.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time.
• English proficiency is helpful but not required; Thai is also spoken in the kitchen.

What to Expect: Working Interview Process

Initial screening will be conducted by the owner to assess work ethic. Successful candidates will then participate in a paid working interview. To prepare, review our menu ingredients available on our website to familiarize yourself with the dishes.
