Toyo Tire Corporation Is Hiring An Administrative Assistant Bilingual

🚀 Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas, Inc is seeking a bilingual Japanese Technical Administrative Assistant to support our R&D teams in Georgia, helping streamline operations through translation, coordination, and administrative expertise.

Job Title: Technical Administrative Assistant (Bilingual Japanese)

This role will support the Tire Testing and Tire Development teams by managing translation, interpretation, daily administrative tasks, and procurement activities. The position reports to the head of the R&D department located in White, Georgia.

🔹 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Administrative Support for R&D Department

  • Prepare travel arrangements for R&D personnel and visiting guests
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for internal staff and external partners
  • Greet visitors, handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and record meeting notes
  • Maintain hard copy and electronic files and records
  • Manage office and testing room supplies inventory
  • Assist in monitoring departmental budget and disbursements

2. Support for Tire Development and Testing Teams

  • Coordinate third-party tire testing: purchase orders, shipping, quotes, invoices, and budgets
  • Assist in creating and translating technical documents (specifications, testing procedures, SOPs)
  • Provide interpretation services during meetings, discussions, and business activities involving international parties
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive technical library of standards, specifications, and procedures

3. Support for Japanese Expatriates

  • Assist Japanese visitors and expatriates in adjusting to their environment during visits, residencies, and work assignments in White, Georgia

4. Additional Tasks

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

💼 Compensation & Benefits

The starting hourly pay for this position ranges from $25.00 to $28.00. Compensation is commensurate with experience and education. We offer a competitive package, including comprehensive benefits, to support our employees' well-being.

🎓 Qualifications

  • Proven ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written English and Japanese
  • Management skills to oversee task progress
  • Experience with document processing, record management, and form design
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time management abilities
  • Adherence to company policies and safety protocols

🎓 Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role

🗣️ Language Skills

Fluent in both English and Japanese, capable of crafting clear, articulate communications in both languages. Experience delivering information effectively in individual and small group settings is essential.
