About the Position

Our agency has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant based at our office in Scranton, PA. This role involves supporting onsite staff by managing clerical duties, allowing them to focus on delivering outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include photocopying, filing, mail sorting, receptionist duties, and data entry. The ideal candidate must be familiar with administrative procedures and possess the ability to work independently, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and maintain a positive, flexible attitude in a dynamic environment.

Education & Work Experience 🎓

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of office experience
  • Strong understanding of office processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional and pleasant demeanor

Core Responsibilities 🔑

  • Deliver excellent, accurate customer service
  • Greet and warmly welcome visitors, answer questions, and direct them appropriately
  • Handle incoming telephone calls, provide assistance, or take precise messages
  • Answer calls and forward them to the correct parties
  • Maintain a neat and welcoming waiting area
  • Manage printing, photocopying, and faxing tasks as assigned
  • Assist with special projects as needed
  • Keep files organized and up to date
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Salary: Starting from $40,000 per year
