Job Purpose 🎯

The Finance Administrator – Accounts Payable role is vital in supporting the accuracy and consistency of Burberry’s financial operations. This position involves managing the complete Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring precise processing, coding, and archiving of invoices.

Key Responsibilities 🔑

• Verify VAT, withholding taxes, accounting codes, and cost centre allocations to uphold financial accuracy.
• Conduct three-way matching and resolve discrepancies with internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, manage credit notes, and support supplier payment scheduling.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes through journal entries and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare audit documentation and maintain audit-ready financial records.

Qualifications & Skills 🌟

• Experience in Accounts Payable and general accounting within structured or international environments.
• Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, with familiarity in IFRS considered an advantage.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills, with a focus on accuracy and analytical thinking.
