Brigham Young University is seeking a dedicated educator to develop and teach French courses from French 101 to 321, emphasizing curriculum development and effective language instruction.
Position Details
- Job Title: Adjunct Teaching - French and Italian - French Course Development and French Teaching for French 101-321

Qualifications and Experience
- Required Degree: Master's Degree in Second Language Acquisition or related field (completed by start date)
- Experience:
- Curriculum development for Advanced-low to Novice French levels
- Knowledge of second-language teaching theories and best practices, including ACTFL guidelines
- Advanced-level language skills (ACTFL rating)
- Extensive university-level French teaching experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Course Coordinators and SI Supervisor to develop curriculum and materials for both classroom and online French courses (French 101–321)
- Observe and prepare course materials for other related courses
- Teach French courses at the 300-level or lower
- Create and develop content and materials for French courses
