- Collaborative Financial Operations: Work closely with the Senior Accounting Manager to manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and expense management.
- Month-End Closing Support: Assist in leading monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparing supporting schedules.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for local management and headquarters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Cash Flow & Banking: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and forecast short-term funding needs for the U.S. sales entity in coordination with the Senior Accounting Manager.
- Tax & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax and reporting requirements, collaborating with external tax advisors.
- Internal Controls & Procedures: Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and support audits.
- Audits & External Reviews: Coordinate and support annual financial audits and other external reviews as needed.
- Team Guidance: Provide guidance to junior accounting staff or external service providers under the supervision of the Senior Accounting Manager.
- Financial Analysis & Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and HQ finance teams to support business decisions with financial insights and reporting.
- Office & Administrative Management: Manage office operations, facilities, and vendor contracts.
- HR & Internal Communications: Support HR administration, compliance, and internal communication initiatives.
- Administrative Budget Control: Monitor and control GA budget and administrative expenses.
- Other Responsibilities: Perform additional administrative and general affairs duties as assigned.
🎯 [Qualifications]
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Professional Experience: Typically 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including closing and reporting. Experience working with a Senior Accounting Manager or similar senior-level role is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, corporate tax, and compliance concepts.
- Systems Proficiency: Experience with accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel; familiarity with mid-size ERP systems preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Korean.
