Role Overview
As an Account Executive (French Speaking), you will be vital in expanding Whatnot’s supply by acquiring and nurturing new livestream sellers in the Benelux market.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the end‑to‑end sales process and collaborate effectively with the team 🤝
- Become an expert on scaling SMB sellers on Whatnot 🚀
- Source and prospect new sellers, securing discovery and onboarding calls 📞
- Lead sales conversations via video and phone, overcoming objections and building rapport 🎥📱
- Close sales, onboard sellers onto the platform, and set them up for success 🛍️
- Utilize data to evaluate seller growth, measure success, and identify areas for improvement 📊
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop growth strategies and provide product feedback 💡
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a fast-paced, client-facing sales role ⭐
- Fluent in French and English, with a strong understanding of the Benelux market 🌍
- Passionate about Whatnot's mission with a keen focus on community experience ❤️
- Fast learner, self-starter, action-oriented, and highly impactful ⚡
- Resourceful, adaptable, and thriving in ambiguous environments 🌪️
- Proven experience in sales, closing deals, and managing multiple accounts 📝
- Proficiency with CRM software; eagerness to learn new systems 💻
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and comfort manipulating data for insights 📈
- Able to commute to either London or Berlin hubs within reasonable distance 🚆

- Experience at a high-growth startup, marketplace, or creator-focused platform 🚀
- Proficiency in Airtable and Salesforce 🛠️
- Passion for creator communities or new domains suited for live e-commerce 🎨
- Experience in buying and selling within online marketplaces 🛒
Compensation & Benefits 💰🎁
Salary range: £70,000 – £85,000 per year plus benefits and equity, commensurate with experience and skills.
