About the Role: Welcome Coordinator

The Welcome Coordinator at Oak Street Health plays a vital role in creating an inclusive environment for all patients who walk through our doors. As the welcoming face of our clinic, you'll help ensure smooth operations and deliver a positive first and last impression on our patients. Your efforts will support an unmatched patient experience, enabling our team to provide the best care possible. 😊

Core Responsibilities

• 🤝 Welcoming patients and guests
• 📝 Conducting visit check-ins and assisting with required forms
• 💵 Collecting co-pays
• 🧑‍💻 Updating patient information and making changes within the electronic medical record platform
• 📅 Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
• 📞 Managing phone lines, answering inbound calls, taking messages, and making outbound calls as instructed
• 📠 Managing faxes via the electronic fax platform
• 🧹 Maintaining cleanliness in the Welcome and Community Room areas
• 🔄 Potentially floating to other centers in the region on infrequent occasions
• ✨ Performing other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite
• Professional phone etiquette
• U.S. work authorization

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve (where necessary)
• Experience in a customer service setting
• Some college education

Position Details

Weekly Hours: 40 hours

Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.00 - $34.15 per hour

This range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time annual salary, with actual offers depending on experience, education, location, and other factors. This role may be eligible for additional incentives like bonuses or commissions.
