Join the American Youth Literacy Foundation, a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2008. Our goal is to ensure every child in America learns to read by the end of third grade, closing educational gaps and preventing lifelong illiteracy.

We are developing the FUNetix ESL app, designed to teach English to children worldwide, reaching a 3rd-grade proficiency in just 40 hours of gameplay.

This innovative app will include speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension modules, making learning immersive and fun.

Volunteer Opportunity: Hispanic ESL Teachers Needed 🇪🇸🧑‍🏫

We are seeking passionate Hispanic ESL teachers to participate in research and development for the 21ESL prototype app, based on the FUNetix 12 Hour Reading App.

• Use the alpha prototype to teach Spanish-speaking students in a virtual setting via Google Meet.
• Record sessions for feedback and analysis.
• Work closely with our UX ESL Team and Project Manager.
• Incorporate your own teaching techniques and materials as needed.

Qualified teachers should be native Spanish speakers or demonstrate exceptional proficiency. The majority of communication with students will be in Spanish, with English used when appropriate.

Both teachers and students’ families will receive compensation for up to 12 hours of participation, regardless of the number of modules completed.
