Why Volunteer with Us?

Volunteering is a fantastic way to support the Alliance Française de Detroit and enjoy rewarding experiences. We are seeking friendly individuals, preferably with French language skills, to help us develop and promote French culture and language.

Benefits of Volunteering

• Free Membership: Receive an individual membership after only 10 hours of volunteering.
• Access to Classes: After 50 hours, volunteers can attend one group class per year (minimum of 3 students required).

Diverse Volunteer Options

• Flexible Commitments: Library assistant, administrative assistant, event assistant, and opportunities to earn community hours.
• Long-Term Commitments (3 months or more):
  • A great addition to your resume!
  • Part-time roles include event management (cooking classes, storytelling, book discussions, movie discussions), blog content creation, or communication development.
• Note: Long-term roles may require authorization to work in the USA.
