Connecticut College French and Francophone Dept Is Hiring A Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor
The French and Francophone Department at Connecticut College is seeking a full-time Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor specialized in French and Francophone language, literature, and culture, with preferences for expertise in sub-Saharan African studies and nineteenth-century studies.
Position Overview
We invite applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor role, offering an engaging teaching experience across various levels of language and literature courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach a 6-course annual load, including language courses at all levels.
- Potentially teach intermediate and advanced literature courses.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in French is required.
- Minimum qualification: M.A.
- Preferred qualification: Ph.D.
