Welocalize is actively seeking experienced and highly skilled Vietnamese to English translators to become part of our dynamic Life Sciences program, specializing in Pharmacovigilance. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on vital medical and clinical content, contributing directly to global health and safety initiatives.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of translations within tight deadlines. Many assignments are time-sensitive, requiring quick turnarounds to meet client expectations while upholding the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• 🔹 Translate documents from Vietnamese (vi-VN) to English (en-GB/en-US), with a specific focus on pharmacovigilance content.
• 🔹 Perform translation, copy editing (CE), and machine translation post-editing (MTPE) tasks as required, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• 🔹 Meet tight deadlines, especially for projects received during EU close-of-business hours, with early morning delivery requirements.
• 🔹 Work within the client-provided XTM CAT tool (license will be supplied).
• 🔹 Maintain professionalism, responsiveness, and reliability to meet client expectations and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

• 🔸 Proven experience in translation, copy editing, and MTPE within pharmacovigilance or similar Life Sciences content.
• 🔸 Fluency in Vietnamese (source language) and native-level proficiency in English (target language), with adaptability to both en-GB and en-US standards.
• 🔸 Availability during US business hours, regardless of your location.
• 🔸 Strong attention to detail, consistency, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
