Job Title: Vietnamese-Speaking Caregiver (Houston, TX 77084) 🌟

Overview

At Always Best Care, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, respectful in-home care that preserves dignity, safety, and emotional well-being. We are currently expanding our team and are urgently seeking a dependable caregiver fluent in Vietnamese to assist a client in Houston, TX.

Location & Shifts

• Location: Greater West Houston (Houston, TX 77084)
• Shift: Day Shift — 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Responsibilities 🎯

• Follow a care plan to assist with daily living activities, including medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and personal care.
• Monitor and document client health and well-being; report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, with special attention to dementia care.
• Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and client progress.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to deliver exceptional care.

Requirements ✅

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience caring for dementia patients preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to pass background and reference checks.
• Fluent in Vietnamese for effective communication with the client.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly clients.
• Comfortable around pets, as the client has dogs in the home.
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
