Position Overview

• Position: Language Interpreter (English & Vietnamese)
• Employment Period: 12 months contract with renewal options
• Working Hours: 8 hours per day with a 1-hour break, totaling 40 hours per week, based on schedule, including night shifts
• Working Time: Starts anytime from 8 pm, 9 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm, or 12 am; shifts rotate every 3 months
• Salary: RM30/hour (minimum RM4,800 per month for 160 hours) + Socso + EPF + overtime pay

Job Description

As a Language Interpreter, your main responsibility is to facilitate clear communication between parties speaking different languages. For example, during a live 911 call, you would interpret conversations accurately between the caller (Tamil) and the emergency operator (English). Ensuring both parties understand each other is crucial.

This role is home-based, requiring a quiet and secure environment. It is open to candidates across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Cambodia. Calls may vary from simple to complex, covering sectors such as Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, and General Business.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking, and Writing)
• Fluent in Vietnamese (Reading, Speaking, and Writing)
• Must work from home with a dedicated workspace
• Own a mobile phone with Android 12+ or iOS 15+ 📱
• Own an updated laptop
• Willing to work rotating 9-hour shifts in accordance with client schedules, including night shifts 🌙
• Entitled to 2 rotating days off per week
• Available to work on public holidays as the operation runs 24/7
