LATN is currently seeking experienced on-site Vietnamese interpreters in Metro Atlanta for flexible freelance assignments. If you have at least one year of interpreting experience, we invite you to join our team!

📝 Job Description

This is a freelance opportunity with assignments available during flexible business hours from Monday through Friday. This role involves providing interpretation services across medical, legal, and educational settings.

🌟 Duties

• Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor in medical, legal, and educational venues.
• Perform in accordance with the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics and HIPAA regulations.
• Carry out interpreting duties in a professional manner.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

🎯 Qualifications

• Fluent in English and a second language (Vietnamese).
• Flexible to accept assignments during weekday business hours.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Pass a written test covering the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
• Able to meet credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities.
• Pass language proficiency assessments in both languages.
• Preferred: BRIDGING THE GAP Certificate or equivalent training course.
• Punctuality and responsibility are a must.
