📝 Job Description

As a Vietnamese Interpreter, you will provide professional interpreting services primarily in healthcare settings. Assignments are conducted entirely via phone or Zoom, with available opportunities based on demand for specific languages and your qualifications.

🎯 Qualifications

• Fluency in both Vietnamese and English
• Proven experience delivering accurate, complete, and clear interpretations in medical, legal, and community environments, maintaining the highest fidelity to the original message
• Strong oral interpreting skills in both directions between Vietnamese and English
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
• Skillful in addressing the communication needs of medical professionals, patients, government agencies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders
• Formal interpreter training and/or relevant professional experience
• Willing to obtain required medical clearances, including vaccination/immunization records and background checks, as necessary
• Reliable phone, laptop or desktop computer, and a stable high-speed internet connection
• Access to a quiet, private workspace for remote assignments
