Our client is seeking a Video Editor to join their staff. Applicants must have advertising agency experience and working with end clients in pharma or healthcare.
Description:
This technical and creative video editor will be a part of our Integrated Production group, working closely with several brand teams to bring stories to life through editorial expressions of long format work, CTV content, social content, and anthem videos across multiple markets. Considerable command of motion graphics and basic animation is preferable. Experience: Pharma / Healthcare agency experience preferred, with at least 5 years total video editing experience. Proficiency in all Adobe apps; strong understanding and usage of Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder required. Key Qualities:
- Experience editing video and audio for various types of projects, including connected tv and patient testimonials, HCP OLV, radio, and social content for all markets.
- Ability to manage multiple post-production project types, in various stages of development, with equal attention to detail.
- Experienced in how the agency internal post group works, with basic project lifespan knowledge.
- Understanding of common medical community rules and regulations of marketing materials.
- Experience supervising Voice Over sessions or other post-production sessions if needed.
- Strong understanding of delivery specs and formats.
- Knack for finding that one piece of music that resonates with the visual storytelling and makes the piece, and viewer experience, more compelling.
- General knowledge of stock options and quality, to assist with creative approach.
- Curiosity of emerging tech and trends with desire to build new partners in the space.
- Ability to effectively communicate opportunities to augment creative quality, to up-level the work.
- Ability to combine creative problem-solving abilities with your editing and visual arts experience, to elevate overall project quality.
- Passion to create great work, no matter what the budget or timing suggest.
- Communication style amenable to interact with dozens of brand account leads and creatives, with desire to build strong relationships internally and with clients.
- Experience in asking the tough questions, if there is a better way to execute.
- Flexibility with continuous workflow optimization, and openness to share smarter ways of working within our department.
