About the Role
The company is seeking a Relationship Manager - Vice President with expertise in Japanese and Asian corporate banking. In this role, you will:
- Build and nurture business connections with Japanese clients in the energy, utilities, metals, and trading sectors, primarily in New York, Houston, and surrounding areas.
- Gather, analyze, and report on financial and business development information.
- Assist in preparing client materials and presentations.
- Maintain strong client relationships, understand their banking needs, and promote suitable banking solutions.
- Provide ad hoc reports to management as needed.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in corporate or investment banking, project finance, or related fields.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting (or equivalent education and training).
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
