Position Overview 📋

Role: Interpretation Coach / Instructor

Location: Remote

Type: Contingent (Part-time; benefits not available for part-time employees)

Responsibilities 🎯

• Deliver telephonic and/or video-remote coaching sessions to students
• Provide timely and constructive feedback reports
• Maintain excellent and punctual communication
• Follow ALTA curriculum and teaching methods consistently
• Participate in ongoing training to stay updated with materials and processes
• Offer superior customer service to ALTA students
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education & Training 🎓

• Certificate from a reputable 40-hour medical interpreter training course
• National Certification in Interpretation (Preferred)
• Graduate of Breaking Boundaries in Healthcare (Preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
• Knowledge of basic audio/visual and computer functions

Experience 📅

• Minimum of 2 years of professional interpretation experience post-training
• At least 1 year of experience as both a contracted and a staff interpreter

Compensation 💰

Hourly rate ranges from $30.00 to $40.00, influenced by factors such as language coached, education, skills, experience, and location.

• Work Arrangement: Remote, contingent position

• Location Restrictions: Currently hiring in all states except Maine and Puerto Rico
