Job Summary

• Full-Time: Teach five sections of French at various levels to middle and high school students.
• Part-Time: Teach one to four sections of French at various levels to middle and high school students.

Essential Functions and Tasks

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that encourage active learning.
• Establish and clearly communicate learning objectives for all activities.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Observe and evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Integrate relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Maintain regular communication regarding student progress and needs with students, colleagues, and parents.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in French and/or French Education; a Master’s degree is preferred 🎓.
• AP curriculum experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to foster and maintain cooperative, effective working relationships with others.
• A passionate lifelong learner open to exploring new methodologies, pedagogy, assessment, and grading techniques.
