Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with department policies and all applicable regulations.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and the operation of ultrasound instruments for clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams, recognizing discomfort or medical issues and taking appropriate actions.
• Safeguard patient property and protected health information (PHI) in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Secure medications onsite according to policies and legal standards.
• Maintain professionalism and respect for company property, financial information, and patient privacy.
• Show responsiveness and exhibit professional, respectful behavior towards patients and colleagues.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Engage empathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members.

Qualifications

• Completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
• Passed the SPIRE exam.
• Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry eligible preferred.
• Valid BLS certification.

Compensation

Pay Range: $32.00 - $44.00 per hour 💰
