Position: Remote Contract Turkish Interpreter

Contract Responsibilities

• Provides consecutive, first-person interpretation.
• Follows interpreter protocols and procedures as required by Propio L.S. clients.
• Adheres to all Propio L.S. policies related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Continuously enhances vocabulary and specialized knowledge in fields such as medical, legal, and social services.

Requirements

• Submission of an updated Resume in English during application.
• English Language Proficiency with a rating of “technical proficiency” (3 or higher on ILR scale).
• Successful completion of a Mockoral interpretation session, evaluated against 24 quality standards (must pass).
• Completion of Propio's online Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology Assessment with a passing score.
• Full Background Check and Security Screen.
• Signed commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Over 1 year of interpreting experience.
