Join a pivotal position that bridges Data Labeling Associates (DLAs) and Team Leads, focusing on maintaining high standards of work through auditing, support, and training in a fast-paced environment. Project Details

  • Job Title: Data Quality Analyst
  • Locations: NYC, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Burlingame
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Employment Type: W2 Full-Time Employee
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
  • Pay Rate: $38/hour 💰
  • Contract Duration: 1-year contract with potential extension

What You’ll Do

  • Support quality assurance and execution across DLA teams, ensuring compliance with standards at scale
  • Audit DLA outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback to enhance accuracy and consistency
  • Act as the first line of support for DLAs — answering questions and interpreting guidelines effectively
  • Assist DLAs in navigating ambiguity and applying updated instructions correctly
  • Participate in onboarding and hands-on training of new DLAs through coaching
  • Monitor workflows, queues, and blockers — escalating issues to Team Leads as needed
  • Identify recurring patterns, issues, and edge cases in both human and AI model outputs
  • Engage in calibration sessions, team discussions, and stakeholder meetings
  • Contribute to refining guidelines, processes, and improving overall team performance
  • Document findings and feedback clearly, concisely, and actionably

What We’re Looking For

  • Native-level proficiency in English with a university degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
  • B2 or higher level of English proficiency 🌎
  • 2–4 years of experience in data annotation, content quality assurance, QA, or related areas
  • Strong ability to interpret and consistently apply complex guidelines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for quality
  • Capable of maintaining consistency amidst evolving guidelines and priorities
  • Experience with AI/ML data workflows or human-in-the-loop evaluation environments
  • Previous experience auditing or reviewing others’ work
  • Familiarity with safety, compliance, or policy-driven content evaluation
