Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer IncomingCalls: Assist consumers, the general public, prospective enrollees, and representatives, adhering to performance standards, policies, privacy, and confidentiality.
- Respond to Contacts: Address all inbound and outbound inquiries efficiently.
- Document Interactions: Track and record all inquiries and actions using the applicable systems.
- Process Applications: Handle new health coverage applications via phone, including building tax households, income assessments, eligibility determinations, interpreting marketplace decisions, and enrollment procedures. Refer consumers to appropriate entities as needed.
- Update Information: Manage life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollments, and special enrollment periods upon request.
- Material Fulfillment: Facilitate delivery of materials via mail, email, or download for caller requests.
- Translation Services: Provide language support for non-English speaking callers following procedural guidelines.
- Escalate Issues: Transfer complex calls or issues to designated staff for resolution.
- Attend Meetings & Training: Stay current on program updates and system knowledge through ongoing education.
