📝 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and representatives, adhering to all performance standards, policies, procedures, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound inquiries effectively and professionally.
  • Accurately track and document inquiries using designated systems.
  • Process applications for healthcare coverage via phone, including verifying household details, income, eligibility, interpreting determinations, and enrolling members into health plans.
  • Manage life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods as needed.
  • Fulfill caller requests for materials through mail, email, or download methods.
  • Coordinate translation services for non-English speaking callers following established procedures.
  • Escalate issues or calls to senior staff when necessary to resolve complex problems.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on all programs and systems.

🌍 Location & Compensation

Remote opportunity for residents within 100 miles of New York, NY.

Salary Range: Minimum salary based in New York, NY, with potential for growth.
