Academics for Peace is a diverse group of Palestinian, Jewish, and other scholars dedicated to the right of all people between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea to self-determination and full equality. Our mission is to assist academics in shifting public opinion on Palestine and Israel by sharing their expertise widely.

🎯 About the Role

You will be responsible for editing and subtitling videos featuring professors and experts discussing Israel/Palestine issues. Using CapCut and AI tools, you will ensure all videos are polished, accessible, and visually aligned with our standards.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Edit videos: remove silences, filler content, and unprofessional takes
• Create English subtitles using CapCut
• Adjust subtitles to meet Academics for Peace aesthetic guidelines
• Generate Arabic and Hebrew subtitles with AI tools
• Review translations for accuracy and quality

✅ Requirements

• Fluency in English, Arabic, and Hebrew (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in CapCut or similar video editing software
• Strong organization skills and keen attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, respectful demeanor

🎓 Training & Workflow

All workflows and technical pipelines are pre-established. You will receive paid training sessions to familiarize yourself with the tools and processes, ensuring you feel confident in your role.
