Position Highlights

This is a remote position where you will:

• Ensure the target text accurately reflects the source content's meaning.
• Perform linguistic tasks based on project instructions, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.
• Maintain high grammatical accuracy while preserving key terminology.
• Identify and correct inconsistencies and cultural references.
• Adjust formatting, tagging, punctuation, and terminology according to guidelines.

What We Require

• Educational Background: Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics, or equivalent experience.
• Language Skills: Native Japanese speaker with excellent command of English both in comprehension and writing.
• Experience: Preferred background in translation and proofreading within Fashion and E-Commerce fields.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAT tools and comfortable with learning new technology.
• Competencies: Strong linguistic and cultural knowledge of both source and target languages.
• Work Ethic: Adaptability to fast-paced environments, professionalism under pressure, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Problem-Solving: Skilled in decision-making and handling multiple project priorities effectively.
