Overview

We are seeking qualified Vietnamese translators to deliver high-quality written translations. The assignments are flexible and based on your availability, enabling you to work on a variety of projects. To be considered, candidates must meet specific minimum requirements, including U.S. citizenship and a proven history of government translation experience.

🎯 Minimum Requirements

• Age: 18+ years old
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen. Willing to complete E-Verify and provide proof of citizenship upon onboarding.
• Experience: At least 5 years of documented translation work with U.S. federal or state government agencies. Your resume must clearly demonstrate this experience.
• Certification & Education: Approved accreditation or certification from organizations such as ATA, ITI, U.S. Department of State, or Chartered Institute of Linguists. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and translation certificate from an accredited university. Proof of these credentials will be required.
• Language Skills: Native Vietnamese speaker with high proficiency in English.
• Technical Equipment: Reliable desktop or laptop with secure, high-speed internet, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with CAT tools (e.g., Trados, XTM).
• Compliance: Agreement to Prisma's Master Service Agreement (MSA) and related Addenda.

📝 Tasks & Responsibilities

• Provide written translations using CAT tools, with access to XTM provided by Prisma.
• Follow all project instructions, glossaries, and reference materials.
• Ensure translations are culturally and linguistically appropriate, maintaining the style and tone of the source.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and fidelity to the source content before delivery.
• Meet deadlines and adhere to project budgets.
• Review and mark corrections on formatted PDFs using Adobe mark-up tools.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with the Prisma team.
• Participate in quality management activities, including CARs and RCAs.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information (e.g., PHI, PII, SBU).
• Comply with policies outlined in the MSA and Prisma Vendor Guide.
