Job Description

We are assembling a global team of professional translators and interpreters available on-call to handle live interpretation and urgent document translation requests. This position is perfect for freelancers looking to supplement their workload with flexible, reliable work.

Responsibilities

• Remain reachable during local EDT time zone work hours for interpretation or urgent translation tasks.
• Provide accurate, confidential, and culturally appropriate translations in both verbal and written formats.
• Respond to calls, messages, or tasks within 5 minutes when on standby.
• Communicate via Zoom, WhatsApp, or phone.

Requirements

• Fluency in English plus at least one target language from the list above.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in translation or interpretation; special certifications are a plus.
• Stable internet connection, access to a phone, and a computer.
• Ability to commit to scheduled availability and respond promptly during work hours.
