Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled French–English Translator to support our pharmaceutical operations by delivering accurate, consistent, and regulatory‑compliant translations. The ideal candidate will have experience translating scientific, clinical, and regulatory content within the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector.

Location: Warren, New Jersey – 3 days on site & 2 days remote

Salary Range: $108,000 – $115,000 per year 💼

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents and content from French to English and vice versa with accuracy and clarity
• Review and revise translations to ensure consistency, proper grammar, tone, and style alignment
• Collaborate with the Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing/MSAT teams to maintain and improve translation standards and guidelines
• Perform proofreading and quality checks on translated materials
• Assist in maintaining glossaries, style guides, and translation memories
• Identify linguistic or content issues and suggest improvements
• Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Conduct quality checks, proofreading, and editing of translated materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field
• Certification from a recognized translation association (e.g., ATA, ITI)
• Experience with clinical or regulatory documentation
• Background in pharmacy, biology, or medicine
• Minimum 1 year of experience in translation, localization, or proofreading
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes in translation or content production
• Native or near-native proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken) 🌟
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
• Excellent understanding of medical and scientific terminology
• Outstanding grammar, writing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Knowledge of translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ) is a plus
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (EMA, FDA) is a plus
